Regent College and the Houston family are pleased to announce the formation of the Jim and Rita Houston Courage Fund, a new initiative that invites the Regent community to participate in the rich legacy of our founding Principal and his beloved wife.
James Houston is one of the “founding fathers” of Regent College. In 1966, while he was a University Lecturer at Oxford (where he taught from 1947 to 1971, specializing in cultural and historical geography), James Houston was invited by a committee of Granville Chapel to become the first Principal of Regent College.
